Thank you for this blog! What hits home for me is the rice in her diet.(culprit) I know that rice has some of the hightest ratings on the Glycemic Index, but thinking that it was better that say Duram Wheat I would often eat it.

I'm going to lay off the rice and go more with the veggies. Thanks again. Sometimes you just need to reminded to make the change.

Your veiwpoint is the closest I seen to my own, namely
self-responsibility, for everything. I've read many blogs and
the like, where they dazzle you by their brilliance, or by
so.called professional credentials. What to do when you fail
in your responsibilities, thats a whole other story.
I've always said that one without the other is'nt complete.
You can't be all brain and no body, visa versa. you need both.
Have a good one---fred

self-discipline to be something that is solely physical, or concerning things like dieting for example. What many don't realize is that in order to have self-discipline in one aspect of your life, you must find that power in all other aspects as well. I have found that yoga has personally helped me find the inner calm that allows for enough introspection to begin to find self-discipline. The combination of physical and mental exertion, both working to create internal balance is very helpful. Thanks for the post.

Good post, can't actually say that I get a Euphoric feeling, not denying it though, food is comforting, but there is this disgust I feel for it most of the time, unless I'm hungry. I can look at a sandwich or a slice of pizza and feel grossed out. (Obviously not healthy)

My exercise habits are much easier to fix than my eating habits. I am still having trouble with not eating just one meal a day.

And I am rambling.
